ONE INGREDIENT: THE ROOIBOS

 

One Ingredient is Chef’s Matt Manning’s famous interactive dining experience.

Less serious than a cooking lesson, but more interactive than a dinner, One Ingredient is for those who are as excited about what goes in to creating a beautiful dish, as they are about eating it.

Get up close and personal with our much-loved local brew...June's ‘hero’ ingredient is Rooibos. See how this indigenous fynbos makes more than just one hell of a cuppa! Distinctively South African, Rooibos’s unique 'bush' flavour complements and elevates a variety of dishes, both savoury & sweet!

Featured across all five courses, each designed to showcase its versatility, with each course paired with local wines. After the canapés and amuse bouche are served to guests at the dining table, they are called on to participate. Matt gives a demonstration of the next course, which guests then re-create in teams of two of three, before sitting down to enjoy their ‘rooibos -inspired masterpieces’. Finally, guests can relax while dessert is served to them by Matt and his experienced team.
