One Ingredient is Chef’s Matt Manning’s famous interactive dining experience.

Less serious than a cooking lesson, but more interactive than a dinner, One Ingredient is for those who are as excited about what goes in to creating a beautiful dish, as they are about eating it.

For the month of August we will be looking at the un-discovered fruit, quince - unlike it's family of pears & apples this fruit is quite sour - but once cooked the transformation is quite dramatic releasing a beautiful, delicate perfume! This 'hero' ingredient truly celebrates the cooler, winter weather - come see how Chef Matt Manning features quince across all five courses, each designed to showcase its versatility, with each course paired with local wine farm, Fable Wines.

After the canapés and amuse bouche are served to guests at the dining table, they are called on to participate. Matt gives a demonstration of the next course, which guests then re-create in teams of two of three, before sitting down to enjoy their ‘quince -inspired masterpieces’. Finally, guests can relax while dessert is served to them by Matt and his experienced team.
